I don't know what Faltine has been eating and/or drinking lately but he needs to continue doing so!

That "single" by Hodo was hilarious! 🤣

Tulo has been spending a ton of time working with Faltine on his swing.

Stevens gives up a 1-out single, followed by a walk.

He gets a 5-4 FC to get the 2nd out, and Stevens' day is done

On comes Harrison w/2 down, runners on the corners

Harrison gets a KS to end the frame

Horns up 10-4 headed B7; stretch

Thanks Joey.

Good solid pitching. Not certain who LBJ is that came in, but he looks to have some nasty stuff.

I think Greg or Keith said we were around 8-9 away from hitting the most homeruns in a season.

Need to get the sweep tomorrow.

Another big series next weekend with Okie Lite coming in.  Not certain who we play during the midweek.

Currently at 73 HRs and the team record is 81 in 2010. Melendez already tied for 4th most HRs in a season, Faltine and Stehyl could easily land in the top 10.

Bats have been alive all season. It’s the pitching that has been suspect.

Team has been averaging 8 runs a game which would land in the top 10 for top scoring Texas teams. At times, the offense has not shown up for specific games and at other times has exploded. I mentioned in a different thread though that only about 4 losses could really be blamed on the offense, 2 times we have lost with the opponent scoring 4 runs and 2 times when they score 5. Every other loss the opponent has scored more than that which is more of a pitching issue like you said.

Melendez currently leads the nation with 19 HRs headed into today.  Also, with a Team BA of .319, Texas falls in the top 6 nationally.
