Per IT, the NCAA is expected to increase the number of official visitors each school can host in a recruiting cycle.

The number sits at 56 currently and should be increasing to 70, and the Texas staff is already prepared for that.

IT is "fully expecting" Mater Dei OL Brandon Baker and DeAndre Carter to officially visit Texas in September, or possibly October.

Their high school game schedule points to September 16th or 30th as the dates they can travel to Austin.

Alabama offered TE Jordan Washington of Houston Langham Creek yesterday.

IT is saying they're likely to provide some competition for Texas, and he'll officially visit Tuscaloosa at some point.

Just read some comments from Colin Simmons about each of the 6 schools he has interest in. Based on those comments, it sounds like Texas is the low man on the totem pole.

I haven't been keeping up with Campbell from Refugio.

I was wondering earlier in the year if Campbell would camp this summer, but my guess is he won't since he has too many offers already.

He's basically the same size as Watkins from Klein Forest, but that one is trending hard towards LSU.
