Some of my thoughts & some from parents of current 4 & 5 star recruits on Texas

My thoughts.

1. I have no idea if Sark will make it and get us where we want to go.

2. I think he does need at least 3-4 years more to attempt to get it fixed. Why you ask..


I have never started a thread like this and I really do not care who believes it etc. But here it goes.

I am lucky enough to be good friend with several big time recruits parents right now. Here is a little feedback from them about the Texas program.

Here are their thoughts


1. They think Sark is a good coach and can win here.. (they really like Sark)

2. Sark walked into a mess

3. Concerned fans and boosters will not give him time to fix it. Another coaching change scares them

4. The think the roster and culture is rotten. Bad players, bad mindset etc etc ( They think a ton of players need to leave)

5. Immediate playing time is important.

6. SEC move is good.

Yeah, but it's not like they're talking to a recruiting service, etc. Thanks for passing along the info, @MBHORNSFAN. Hearing that info is at least encouraging and adds more credence to some of the reports coming out on the reactions from recruits.

Thanks for taking the time to post the information. It will be interesting to see how it pans out on signing day and if indeed enough time is given to fix it by either Sark or anyone. Thanks again MB.

Not necessarily true .. These are good friends giving me their true opinions... Not a reporters.

IMO last year's woke culture assault on the University did more harm than the product they put on the field...Parents and players dont want that social justice activism at the school, they just want to play their sport...it hurt the TEXAS brand more than anything, right now UT is NOT the cool place to attend..winning and winning big can change that

Good perspective from parents, which is why we havent seen any decommits after an almost unprecedented five game skid and likely losing season.  This has almost zero influence on the future of the program UNLESS someone thinks this is the new standard and I dont see anyone saying that.
