It's not a delusion, it's fact according to this report (not my opinion). The Honeymoon is over.

1. Nebraska-Scott Frost

2. Florida-Dan Mullen

3. FIU=Butch Davis

4. New Mexico State-Doug Martin

5. South Florida-Jeff Scott

6. Virginia Tech-Justin Fuente

7. Texas-Steve Sarkisian

If our administration/board is so naive as to fire a first-year coach, then they deserve all the ridicule that they'll get.

Texas football coaches won't buy houses when they take a job here. They'll rent apartments . . if they can find anyone worth a squat to take the job.

I don't expect a 1st year firing, no one does. That is sensationalism. But next year is different.

Texas could choose to empty the whole locker room approach, or keep some that pass the lie detector test, and spend a few more years with the current staff and maybe we improve. If not we do it all again, the 6 year plan.

TCU made a mid year change, and got immediate results.

Then why the hotseat stuff from the click bait site?

NEXT YEAR , we haven't even completed year one and you are projecting that UT will be worse than they are now ?  and you call yourself a fan. What is your problem with Sark ?

Question is there any one that did not expect Sark's record to be better.

Offebse has been good to very good. When Casey is healthy can play with anyone.

Defense is anotherstory any team with a fair offensehas runnedthrough them like grain through a goose.

There is no way you can runoff half this team and replace them. So nextyear will depend on coaching and defensive side is lacking something in that department.

Grain of salt time. A poster from another board said Sark was ripping into the offense during halftime, and Moore started blaming individual players. Bijan apparently told him to stop complaining and quit the team. If true, well done Bijan.

Needless to say, tmrws presser should be an interesting one.

Moore was a head case and you could tell that from before he stepped on campus. Addition by subtraction.

If there’s anything that leads to a culture problem it starts with allowing players like this on the team. Guys you know are head cases but think the talent is too good to pass up. Just a handful of guys like this can kill a locker room.

We get obsessed about star rankings, but those don’t take attitude into account. Better to have a 3 star army of players with emotional intelligence than a toxic locker room full of Moore’s.

Personally,  I thought we could be anywhere  from 7-6 to 9-4.  Granted i thought the OL would be something of Karic, Johnson, Majors, Augilau, and split time between Kerstetter/Jones/Garth. How little did we know how the coaching change hasn't helped some of these guys. So, if some leave who cares other than you? Especially if we get some of the 4 current guys visiting with Greene and Agbo also under consideration. Have heard that Murphy is talking with both of them.

Now for the defense:

We have what 7 DL and a couple of LBs, with 2 safeties and 1 corner. But if Coburn, Ojomo, and possibility Sweat were to leave for the NFL, with Jones. We would currrently Collins, Broughton, and Murphy.  I don't  consider Goram-Welch or Myron Warren as both are behind true freshman currently. Thus both can hit the portal and not be missed.

Linebackers:  Davis, Overshown, and Thornton with possibly Dele are seniors? None will be missed. Hoping  Richardson, Harris Jr., Sorrell, Dorhah, Abiara, and Bayouth are players. Hullaby, Gbenda, Thomas and Dele (if not a GT) could leave with maybe only you missing them. Tillman played as a freshman and then had a ACL and hasn't  been seen since. Depending upon who is asked, Oghoufo is either a junior or senior.

DBs:

Cook, Jamison, Thompson. All could leave or 2 could come back. Dunn in the same boat. Caldwell should portal out, he wont be a player as a corner.

Foster should've quit like he did last year. He hasn't changed from his freshman year till now. Much like Sterns if drafted, it's because of his measurements not his body of work. Just another one of these "blue chippers" that MBHOrnsguy and others claim we have that should just be so awesome that we win because  he is on the field.

Schooler looks like "Brenda" 2.0. If questioning, former players call out players that seem more concerned with their hair  than their talent. Think Hagger. Coffey hasn't  played and Jerrin Thompson is a linebacker if his play doesn't  change.

Ive said at least 10 transfers this year. Maybe 15 both this year and next year with around 10 transfer coming in both this year znd next year with the solid classes that Sark brings in both year.

LET THE PURGING BEGIN.

Coach Beckelman also said, that new coaches don't change players attitudes unless they tell them the truth. New shoe polish doesn't change a turd. It just makes the turd a shiny different looking turd.

Would you like to go through the offense?

30 players that either won't be missed or are non-factual player to how we get back to being winners and big players in big time players.

He isn't  a fan. Never has been!. He just post like he is Herman or Momma Card.  Herman will NOT BE REHIRED NOR BE CONSIDERED as a coach here again and he can't stand it. Why the Mods allow him to still be here is on them.

Sark isnt grtting fired this year or next year. The BMDs, the President of thr school, the board, and CDC know what it will take and it's  at least 3 years and lots of tuenover from the average 3 or 4 stars that some keep claiming as "blue chippers" to go away and getting  real 4 stars and legit 5 stars to come in to be difference makers. Plus aloow themselves to be fully developed into those difference makers that Alabama has and now Georgia has.

Good answer. Then if you run off the amount of players you mentioned, HOw are you going to replace them?f

I will ask again how do you plan on replacing them?

Obviously, this team does not have the talent to compete nationally with the big boys. But, when it comes to the Big 12, their talent level is almost as good as OU's and better than all other teams in the Big 12. And it's not even close.

The problem is that they don't play up that talent level. For whatever reason. I saw a video clip of Nick Saban on another site where he talks about a player's Capability Gap. In other words what level are they capable of playing at and what level are they actually playing at.

I will contend that that Capability Gap on this Texas team is sizable for most of the team. There's your problem. That's why we are 4-5 with a team capable of being 7-2 at the worst.

Flush the toilet. Replace most of the team.

The team has stinking thinking. The culture. An intangible that is impossible to measure. Something a coach can't cause or correct. They were born that way. Nature vs. Nurture.

Blame the players. Especially if the last coach left them here. Not all though, like Bijan, Roshon or Dicker. The other under performers should be banished.

Replace them with players that have a good attitude, (never mind that it's impossible to identify/quantify). Future recruiting should pay less attention to rankings, weight, height, speed, high school statistics or grades and background.

Now that we have thrown out the baby with the bath water, next we'll discuss how to replace more players than any team since Marshall.

The problem with this is it can Texas fans be patient enough to do this?  We are talking 3-4 seasons of losing records.

Sark said he is under the hood fixing things.  To me that corresponds he knows this requires major roster changes.
