Jameson McCausland
2022 is very important cycle along the offensive line for Texas after the Longhorns only signed two lineman in the 2021 class. Kyle Flood got the cycle started off on the right foot this evening by securing commitments from Cole Hutson (Frisco) and Connor Robertson (Austin Westlake). Hutson chose Texas over offers from Oklahoma, Texas A&M and others. Robertson picked the Longhorns over Stanford and Northwestern. Both likely profile as interior lineman once they arrive on the 40 acres. The pair of commitments brings the 2022 class to a total of 14 members. Flood will look to grow the OL class soon with elite OT Kelvin Banks set to announce his commitment Sunday between Texas, Texas A&M, Oregon and LSU.
