Oregon knocked off Utah last night eliminating the Utes from the CFPs.  Baylor and OU kickoff at 11:00 am in the Big 12 Championship Game, and there are a host of games following.

If LSU beats Georgia today, a Big 12 team is getting in to the playoffs.

Does Baylor have what it takes to beat OU?  Will LSU destroy Georgia?

Virginia plays Clemson and is the the 7th team in 7 years to represent the ACC Costal Division. Can the Cavaliers pull off the upset?

SCHEDULE:

BIG 12 CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
Oklahoma vs. Baylor
11:00 AM - ABC

SUN BELT CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
Louisiana vs. Appalachian State
11:00 AM - ESPN

AMERICAN ATHLETIC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

So, with Utah's loss last night Texas has a good shot of playing in the Alamo Bowl.  LSU has to beat UGA and one of OU or Baylor are in the CFP and the other goes to the Sugar Bowl.  Of course, if UGA beats LSU then we have a dilemma on our hands.  Do 2 SEC teams make in or does the committee pick a B12 champion?

Easier for a DE to get pressure from a 5/7 technique than a 4i or 3 like it seemed Texas played so often this season. A 3 man front can work but we didn't seem to scheme it very well. It also helps to have big, strong and experienced DL to handle the run game which we did not always have on the field.

Coburn and Sweat will be those kinds of DL the next two years...Hopefully

OU's body language walking off the field at halftime look defeated; whereas, Baylor had the appearance of confidence. The idea of Blow U and Rape U (and their lack of transparency and hypocrisy) being in the final four and the Sugar Bowl makes me want to puke. Even though I don't drink I might take Bluto's advice:

Bluto: My advice to you is to start drinking heavily.

Not impressed with Georgia tonight.  I thought for sure the #4 team would give the Tigers a better game....  but they did lose to South Carolina.

I think LSU is peaking. The defense has arrived. They have kept Deandre Swift and Fromm in check for the most part all afternoon.
