Administrators HornSports Staff Posted November 29, 2019 Administrators Report Share Posted November 29, 2019 The Texas Longhorns (6-5, 4-4) are coming off back-to-back losses for the first time this season as they head into the Thanksgiving Week matchup against the Texas Tech Red Raiders (4-7, 2-5). It’s been a season of under-performance and underachieving for Texas after a 10-win season last year, but a win against Texas Tech would cap the regular-season on a positive note. With rumors of potential staff changes swirling on the 40 Acres, all eyes will be on how this football team executes the game-plan. Texas will honor 16 seniors who will play their final game at Darrell K. Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium prior to kickoff. The Longhorns are 1-1 against the Red Raiders under Tom Herman and defeated Texas Tech 41-34 in Lubbock last season. Texas is 8-2 over their last 10 meetings with Tech, and 17-6 against the Red Raiders since the two schools joined the Big 12. TexCoyote
CDC needs to look at this crowd today because it’s the biggest one he’s going to see for awhile. Spending all that money to expand the stadium and put a non competitive product on the field it’ll start being about half full. I’d cut bait and start over myself

dillohorn
Another TT TD. I've seen enough. Shame on UT if ANY coach on staff is retained. That includes Herman. Out.
mctmatt
This team is ready for the season to end . You can tell how they are playing . They do not want to go to a bowl game and they should not if Tech continues to out play them. I believe many of the players just want to be done then make a decision as to transferring or not. primal defense
Halftime comedy relief. Ole Miss went from potentially tying the game against Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl last night to an embarrassing one-point loss thanks to the antics of wide receiver Elijah Moore. Moore caught a two-yard touchdown pass from Rebels quarterback Matt Corral with four seconds remaining to bring the game within one point. However, what would've been an easy chip shot field goal for Ole Miss kicker Luke Logan to tie the game was pushed back to field goal range after Moore was flagged for his touchdown celebration. Moore got down on all fours and lifted his leg to imitate a dog peeing, which triggered a 15-yard penalty on the ensuing play. https://www.cnn.com/2019/11/29/us/ole-miss-dog-loss-trnd/index.html

You can if you keep hiring the wrong coach in the first place.
