Epictetus 841 Report post Posted November 2, 2018 I went Scottish Guy satire, but only to cover my premonition and worry that it was going to be what it was with Okie Lite. I sincerely believe Horns win this one by whatever means. A slobbersnocker if it be. Through 8 games, avg score has been: 31-25 Toss out OU game and the average is: 29-22 So, 6.5 point difference; opponents low to mid 20s. Even BEFORE I ran that, I was thinking: Horns mid 30s, WVA low to mid-20s. My theoretical mind was proven experimentally!! ha! I would say 34-24, but feel this squad is ready to chew heads off nails both sides of the ball. TEXAS: 42-24 -- solidifying a run to a Dec 1st title game in Arlington. 2 DBut82 and UTfish reacted to this

utb040713 158 Report post Posted November 2, 2018 I'm usually an eternal pessimist, but Texas always brings their A game when they play ranked opponents. WVU's offense didn't look all that sharp against Texas last year even before Will Grier got hurt, and the Horns were a freshman mistake (95-yard pick six by Ehlinger) away from a possible 35-7 rout in Morgantown. Combine that with the fact that our DBs should come out fired up after getting torched last week, and I think the Longhorns run away with this one. Texas: 41 WVU:
doc longhorn 2,005 Report post Posted November 2, 2018 By now it is obvious that we can't defend against the pass. We are terrible in this category (90th). WVU will have a field day against us - 45 - 20 WVU

primal defense 3,247 Report post Posted November 3, 2018 Another toss up game and the Horns should play better at home. However, the UT defense will need to show me they can come back and play better against a better QB and offense. WV 45 UT
