HornSports Members Prediction Thread: Oklahoma State

This game worries me. Okie St is looking to save their season and it's probably do or die time for them. Primetime in Stillwater with a black out. Add a gimpy Ehlinger into the situation. There are plenty of reasons to be sweating this one. Hopefully Orlando and his acolytes save the day.

I think TH will take it easy on Sam's shoulder and limit the passing somewhat. OSU's lackluster DL will enable TH to focus on the run game, chewing up clock and keeping our defense off the field.

We will control the clock and the game. OSU gets a punch or two in but the game is never really in doubt. The week off served us well.

Texas 34

OSU 14

And from my understanding Ingram is well rested and in his best shape right now

I'm aligning with Scottish Guy (have not listened to 104.9 lately but assume he's till around).

Longhorns 63
Cowpokes   0

Black and Orange cross midfield just once, 3 min before halftime.
Horns get 5 turnovers. Two pick-6. One kickoff return for TD.
Run game exceeds 270 yards.
4 passing TDs
2 on the ground
2 INT
1 special teams
-------
9 x 7 = 63

Horns punt once.
Convert 9 of 11 third downs.
Breakout game with 7 explosive plays of 20+ yards.
Register 8 sacks.
Win TOS:  37 to 23
And that's all she wrote.

And the one punt is for 70 yards.

Oh Lort. Assuming Sam plays to his fullest and we don't continue to play the first quarter half asleep my prediction is:

Texas 31

Okie Lite 14

Even at my young age I really cannot handle anymore down to the wire games. I'd love to see Breckyn and Charles and the other seniors go crazy on OSU. Those guys have been around for some gut-wrenching losses to the Cowboys and it's payback time!

Okie Lite: 31

Texas: 21

Tom Herman's teams have had a real problem with letting inferior teams stick around way too long without putting them away. With this game being 1) at night 2) on the road 3) against a clearly inferior opponent 4) at their homecoming game, I think this is the game where that trend of playing down to the competition bites the Horns square in the ass.
