Now seeing Evans May be Aggy bound after all since Uga didn’t turn in his letter. Wow.

They did turn it in. They are probably hoping he wants out of it.

Is Aggie easier to get into than GA?? They seem to be comparable, no??

Really does not matter which university. All have the same standards that are provided by the NCAA. All recruits have to be cleared by the NCAA Clearinghouse..There is a scale based on GAP and SAT?ACT score. Lower the GAP higher the SAT?ACT score the athlete needs. There are also core class GAP requirements etc.

Grades?  Sad if he can’t get into Georgia but can at aggy.

actually, it seems like over the years there have been several players that UGA either cut loose or didn't sign because of grades.....and other secsecsec teams snap em up. I think there was a QB that did well at Bama that UGA cut loose. Nothing new here on Evans. If aTm didn't take him Bama or some other no ethics secsecsec team would snap him up.

Word on the street is it's not Evans' grades but his test scores that are the problem. Where's Aunt Becky when you need her eh?

This is what Mike, above, was trying to explain. If Evans' GPA was higher, then he would not require a higher test score. So it actually is the grades AND the test scores.

Five-star running back Zachary Evans is not expected to end up at Georgia, sources tell 247Sports.

Evans told reporters at the Under Armour All-American Game that he signed with a college team during the Early Signing Period. That program was Georgia. However, Evans did not announce his college decision as previously scheduled during the all-star game. Evans said postgame he “can’t answer” questions about his college decision, per 247Sports’ Brian Dohn.

There have been a trio of Crystal Ball projections linking Evans to Texas A&M over the last few days.

Aggy and Head honcho Jimbo have a decision to make. Do you take in this locker room cancer and roll the dice that you can pacify this guy for 3-4 years? Or will it blow up in their faces?

Aggy has $75 million invested in the coach alone. They just finished year 3 in that contract and are still finishing in 4th place in a division of a conference.

Does desperation lead to stupid here?

I’m not buying Georgia (Kirby Smart) suddenly choosing character over talent and pulling the offer. This has to be an academic issue.

If Evans doesn’t qualify at Georgia he doesn’t qualify at A&M.

NATION'S NO. 1 RB REPORTEDLY SIGNED WITH GEORGIA, BUT NOT EXPECTED TO ENROLL

The recruitment of Zach Evans has been a rollercoaster ride, and anyone who isn’t strapped in has likely jumped by now — no matter how far the ride happens to be separated from the ground at that point.

To sum up this multi-year saga into a single sentence, Evans has not committed to any school at any point in the recruiting process, signed with a school in December, was scheduled to announce his ex post facto commitment during last week’s Under Armour All-American game, and yet here we are on Monday, Jan. 6 and Evans is still unattached.

For those unaware, Evans is the No. 1 running back in the class of 2020. The Houston product rushed for 1,600 yards and 20 touchdowns on 127 carries (that’s 12.6 per carry) in helping North Shore High School win back-to-back Class 6A Division I state championships. His high school coach compares him to Adrian Peterson.

That’s one side of this coin.

The other is all the above. Evans reportedly had to be dragged from the locker room to join his teammates after having a sub par (by his standards) game in North Shore’s 2018 championship game win — a game North Shore won on a Hail Mary at the buzzer. He was sent home from North Shore’s 2019 rematch with Duncanville for a violation of team rules.

According to 247Sports, Evans signed with Georgia in December, but now is not expected to enroll. Assuming Georgia gives him an unconditional release — and the Dawgs are expected to do so — Evans is expected to wind up at LSU or Texas A&M, with the Aggies holding the lead at the moment.

However, since Evans would not sign a National Letter of Intent, he would in theory be free to walk away from Texas A&M or LSU should he so choose as well.

Lots of people bought tickets to buy the Zach Evans Roller Coaster, but only Evans decides when it stops.

Evans is all show, he can't get in.........  If he does miraculously gain a score high enough in his 3rd or 4th attempt, NCAA clearinghouse steps in to investigate, lol.  I'd bet on him being a non qualifier!
