Well, you take away the pick 6 in the Wyoming game, that score is 24-10 and we're not feeling as good about things.

But you can’t take those things away. The defense is playing great football. The D has shown up in all of the games. That gives me a lot of hope because the offense has so many playmakers that you (or QE or SS) can’t hold it back for an entire game. At some point this year the whole offense will come together and what we’ve been waiting for will have arrived.

Just finished some really strong burnt orange koolaid.

Hard to understand how we are dead last in offensive success rate. Worse than Baylor ?

It has a lot to do with Texas being inefficient on first and second downs, like those early penalties on the OL against Wyoming.

They're also not very good when those situations lead to them having to gain big yardage on third or fourth downs.

I imagine a poor completion percentage on random deep balls feeds into all of it as well since it keeps the offense behind the chains.

It is one advanced statistic and because of the way it is calculated, and our streaky offense, we are grading out poorly. Other offensive stats, like EPA put us in the top 25 for offense.

1-0 each week is the only stat that matters.  I don’t care if the defense scores to win it or we win in a blowout.  1-0 is it
