I think its a pretty good description of the problem. Throughout last season he struck me as a guy who didn't know what to do once his script ran out and/or if he couldn't get the deep game going. Hopefully with more experience across the board, those lapses become a thing of the past. Eastexhorn
Administrators TFloss32 Posted March 10 Administrators Report Share Posted March 10 Guys, I don't plan on posting much about spring practice unless I feel something is noteworthy, otherwise I feel it gets kind of redundant. However, three things from IT and TFB. - WR Isaiah Neyor was in pads today, but still has a big knee brace. - both of those sites saying OL Neto Umeozulu is coming on fast, and will be hard to keep off the field. - TFB mentioned S BJ Allen needs to improve quickly, or we could be having a different discussion about him after spring practice. Not shocked about BJ. Been plenty of whispers and his brother decommitted. But great news that multiple sites are saying Neto looks good. Usually means multiple sources agree and not just one person trying to hype up someone.

Eastexhorn
Read another article on why Texas should contend for a spot in play offs. One eason stated Horns have 10 starters returning. Must have meant on offense. AndHorns only have 3 seniors on offense on this years team. 4 if you count the punter. Sirhornsalot

Administrators TFloss32 Posted March 13 Administrators Report Share Posted March 13 Nice note from IT regarding Spring Break for the players. "We don’t know the percentage of players who aren’t observing the college rite of passage and hitting the beaches or the mountains this week, but a good amount of them are staying in Austin and continuing to workout rather than going and having fun and paying the price during the first practice." hornag, UTfish, Sirhornsalot and 4 others 6

Eastexhorn
24/7 had a top 20 for making playoff's this season. Georgia to three pete, Mich. second Bama fourth. Horns was 16th with K. St. and TCU. ahead of them. Sirhornsalot

Next year is a totally different world.
Eastexhorn
I belive theybased on returning talent and the job that coaches did in the past. Eithrr it mostly an educated guess, plus got to keep subscribers happy. They mentioned coaching sucess at TCU and K. TCU will be breaking in a new QB this year. lol
