Harrison Wier
3 people have reportedly been stabbed, and 1 dead on campus today. This happened right in front of Gregory Gym and McCombs. I was not near this area and am safe. My girlfriend, however, was. She is also fortunately safe. The person that died may be a former pledge of my fraternity. I know his older brother well. I will confirm when I actually can, but please say a prayer for all the victims and the UT community. Hate is never the answer. From what I know, these attacks were led by members of a group that is trying to punish the greek community. Multiple fraternity properties have been tagged with the words "rapists" and racists" on their property. This group is filled with hate and dangerous. All the victims were wearing Greek letters today. There is another reported suspect in West Campus looking to hurt members of the Greek community. When I know more, I will let you know. Please do not go near campus today. Please. I beg of you. If you live in Austin, go nowhere near here right now. I pray any other students on this page are safe. Thank you. drgilbert
Thank God my daughter was running late for class or she would have been there. My two girls plus 4or 5 others are holed up in their dorm room now. Rotty22 and Danny Hale
