bcherry168
"The Longhorns abandoned the QB lead running game that served us so well against OU and KSU, showed regression in every basic concept of the passing game and we saw the same mistakes that characterize our play at every position. We didn't do anything to exploit ISU's injured, subpar secondary and the play calls that weren't sabotaged by player error were more scaled down than Heard's first start against Cal." Could hardly say it better. Norvell went away from what had been successful the last two games and right back to the same stuff that got us beat before....and it beat us again. There is no way to sugar coat the terrible ineptness of the offensive scheme and play calling. The kids deserve better than that crap. J.B. texasfanbrock
Teams will continue to challenge us and make us throw. They know Heard can't pass. His passing stats are bloated with blown coverage catches in which he underthrew the receiver.
