Doubtful. Lightning will stop a game and even cause a postponement. But rain won't.

I know they moved the LSU-S Carolina game this year because of weather.

Sounds like Austin is getting some serious rain.

Maybe Saturday is supposed to be better ?

Your rain and winter is coming.  Just be patient, and you'll be stuck in the house with the Mrs and going outside only to shovel snow.

On second thought, you make a good point there. This is basically the remnants of the largest hurricane ever recorded in the western hemisphere. The main storm hasn't even become close to us yet.

 

Austin floods easily. If it were to hit Austin hard, IMO, they'd postpone the game if for no other reason that to NOT give fans a reason to get on the roads and possibly put their lives at risk.

Well I must admit after re-thinking this, I have decided to stay home and watch from the dry comfort of my couch. They should have delayed it until tonight when it was supposed to clear up.

Lighting strikes is what they stated. I really believe they should have thought this out and delayed the game. They say we can't leave the stadium at halftime because they're concerned with our safety but they want us to come to a game which is effected by weather of the worst hurricane on record?
