FYI

Consistent with their policy during spring practices, UT is not allowing any use of social sites/live reporting during practice. Coach Strong will have a brief press conference after practice, then I'll get home & put up a practice report (but there won't be much info before that).

Some big gainers:

D. Foreman +26 lbs (241)

E. Freeman +16 (236)

A. Foreman +15 (204)

Raulerson +14 (295)

Hutchins +12 (290) Ford +11 (291)

Some guys who got smaller:

Alex Anderson -24 lbs! (296)

A. Beck -10 (232)

Jinkens -7 (230)

Somehow Kevin Vaccaro got 3 in. shorter (5'8").

I have high hopes that Freeman will be the right guy for this conference.
Finally get to see if that's right.
He and Catalon are the two from that class I am most curious about.

We'll hear from Matt after practice what he thinks of those guys, but Edwin Freeman has a very good shot at playing next to Malik Jefferson.

All I know is if I were Matt I'd be camped out either next to the WR group or the OL group because those are the two positions (besides QB) that are the biggest question marks. Very interested to hear his thoughts on those guys

DeShon Elliott on Duke Thomas. It looks like Duke has taken Diggs' spot and solidified his position as a team leader

I find it interesting the difference in how RB freshmen treat Jonathan Gray and how the DB freshman treat Duke. The RB let Gray know daily that they are gunning for his position while the DB are letting Duke know that he's the leader and they look up to him. Probably the difference comes from the fact that there is usually only one starting running back and 5 starting DB's (including Nickel)
