Why are we a complete mess in the 3rd Quarter for an Entire Season?

There just has to be a reason?

Adjustments and depth both play a part...but if depth and or conditioning then why were we better in the 4th quarter?

Is it just adjustments? Bad usage of halftime?

I often wonder this.  But the offense was pretty much terrible the whole game this time.  I love Strong so I am not bashing the guy, but he has said in past "we didnt do anything different" or " they basically did the same thing in the 2nd half as they did in the first".   All to often we hear its about execution, while that sounds reasonable I find it hard to believe as the only reason /shrugs

IMO:

1. The defense is flat out tired by the end of the first half.  
2. The defense has no confidence in the offense to score points by the second half, and just give up.
3. Lack of meaningful leadership on the offense to carry the team on their shoulders and get them going.
4. Subpar QB and OL play 
5. Questionable offensive play calling at times

1-3 are my picks
