It is a name that has popped up a lot lately when Texas recruiting is discussed and Drennon seems to be earning more and more recognition. He is interested in Texas, although he is from New Jersey. His specs:

Height: 6'3"

Weight: 230 lbs

High School: Timber Creek Regional (New Jersey)

Position: Weakside Defensive End

Rivals Rating: 3 stars

Scout: 4 stars

He has offers from a ton of schools including Alabama, FSU, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, West Virginia, Tennessee, etc... He has attended only Penn State and Rutgers Camps.

Certainly on the Texas radar after playing on the U.S. National Football team (Championship is in Austin tonight). The Horns could really use a true DE with the decommit of Daeshon Hall. Drennon could fill that void nicely.

He looks good but the last New Jersey player I remember us getting got sacked in the end zone by Roy Williams in Dallas. That did not turn out too well.

Prevot looks to be leaning toward other schools. This kiddo is marked. I would expect an offer SOON.
