Waking up this morning

... felt like a punch to the gut.

I don't mean to rehash what is going on but Texas had everything lined up.

The UT administration allowed Mack Brown to be a petty old insecure man who besides it's making lots of money, screwed up the Saban deal.

I woke up after three hours and still pissed off Mack Brown is still the coach Of Texas. Instead of celebrating the end of the Brown era and usher in coach Nick Saban, I truly hope many Texas fans and boosters see how much of a dick Brown really is.

I'm tired accepting mediocrity.

I still find it hard to believe that Mac has the audacity to think he is bigger than UT Football and that Powers lets him get away with it. If we have to wait till all the way until after the bowl game I'm wondering how much of the top of this recruiting class we will loose.

Will it take getting blown out at the Alamo Bowl for Mack to see that he doesn't have it; he hasn't turned anything around? MB has let his pride get in the way of what I feel is best for the UT football program.

MB may have escaped the executioners blade for now, but God forbid if we get blown out and embarrassed by Oregon..His reign is on life support, all we are waiting for is the family to sign the papers to pull the plug...

It's a punch inthe stomach, a kick in the nads. Mack Brown is officiallly bigger than Texas football. That's clear to see. What we have is a two-headed monster in Powers-Brown that believe mediocrity is the accepted standard at Texas. I don't know what to think of this Patterson cat. He must of took the job with the clear understanding of towing the company line. I'm astonished the regents will sit back and let this continue to play out. This has been an utter embarrassment tithe school, the state and all the many fans. I'm staggered, sickened and disgusted all at the same time. Spend your hard earned dollars and let's go 8-4 and secure a worthless low-tier bowl game. As far as playing a role in a 4-team playoff? Not gonna happen with this regime, IMO. FWIW.
