UIL releases realignment, new districts

Some VERY strong districts come out of this. Very much unlike the predicted districts. Here are a few highlights.

Down in the RGV, it looks like 32-6A is gonna be one salty district, probably the toughest district in the area. My Weslaco Panthers (back to back district 31-6A champs) and crosstown rivals at Weslaco East (back to back district runners-up) join Harlingen (3rd round of playoffs), San Benito (3rd round), Los Fresnos (lost to Panthers in 1st round), Harlingen South, Brownsville Hanna, and Brownsville Rivera (2014 district co-champs).

That puts 5 of last year's playoff teams and 6 from the last 2 years (including 3 district champions from the past 2 years) in the same district. Won't make state headlines, but for the RGV, this is definitely the district to watch.
