UConn going after a good coach

Rumor is they will interview Virginia Tech DC Bud Foster. I think thats a great move and one which could usher in the end of Frank Beamer.

It amazes me that Foster hasn't had a head coaching job for all these many years. He's been very loyal to VaTech. You reckon Beamer would step aside to keep Foster in Blacksburg?

I dont think he would, he'd just go after the best DC he could land and hope for the best. He has been lucky to have had Foster for as many years as he has.

Yesterday was thinking about how long VT would ride with Beamer. Good coach but hasn't won the big one yet. Got close.

I think this will be Beamer's last year at VT. Foster would/should be in line there for the top spot.
