We concentrate on where to have Nike insignia and our jersies don't  match our  colors. My wife even noticed that old uni's are different.

They updated the unis for this season. I posted a pic of one of the players modeling one. The burnt orange certainly looked off to me.

I got my first Texas t-shirt in the 70's.  It had a true burnt orange logo. Don't remember seeing them in the 60's, but then I don't remember much of anything that far back. Selective memory, I suppose.

Back in the 70s and early 80s, what burnt orange you found in the store was a crap shoot. When they chose a specific panetone color in the mid 80s is when things became consistent.

And now they're not consistent again.

They seem to be going toward a brighter burnt orange.

Tried to post a picture from another site of Earl Campbell in icy whites with burnt orange numbers and trim but it won't let me ?

But it looked damn good.

Betting this and the jerseys are being f'ed up by Phil Knight and Nike and CDC has been okay with it.
This is just a concept made by "deeyung entertainment".

To me, the new burnt orange on the jerseys looks closer to the original or actual color. Some of the color on the courts and fields has improved too under CDC

Ugh...

Color is better, but I mucho prefer the white helmets with the logo over the ear hole. Do not like the logo on top.
I hate it, too. Its just a concept helmet. I do think Sark throws out something different at some point though.

I will say that the only move they've made with the unis – removing the numbers off the tops of the shoulder pads, is not one that I like.

I like the numbers up there.
