Time to see how good our young baseball team is

3 game series against the #3 ranked Stanford Cardinal baseball team beginning Friday. I made it to the game against UT Arlington and it was not pretty. Our pitching will be our achilles heel this year.

I believe Stanford is ranked #2 in baseball and Texas will need the bats to be on fire. Stanford has good pitching and they are undefeated (4-0). They did have to beat Pacific University (yes I said it - Pacific University) in the 11th inning last game so they can be beaten. We need to take two of three in this early season IMPORTANT series.

Way early to knee jerk and we all know I am the Knee Jerking champion around these parts. Losing a stud pictcher early didn't help the cause.

They have only played 5 games! Stanford is the 2nd best team in the country! Settle Down, settle down.

A loss to UT-Arlington and a sweep at the hands of Stanford. Hmmm. Texas is not that godd this year. Sound familiar? I.E. Basketball.. Baseball.. Football. Damn!
