Beau Carpenter has been kicked off the team. Pretty big loss IMO, was one of their best if not best offensive lineman. dominated will sutton in the bowl game.

Not sure. Must have been something pretty significant, or maybe he had past violations. Either way pretty big loss for Tech. Carpenter manhandled Sutton in the bowl game.

There's 50 posts on their rivals site in less then 8 minutes on the subject, so that tells you it's a pretty big loss.

Yea, one of my customers here in DFW is a Red Raider, worked with Ketchum on the Tech message board for some time. I'm sure he'll email me about this tomorrow.

I'm also interested in what the rules violation was. Think we would have heard about an arrest or something serious involving the law. I haven't found anything online of previous rules violations by Carpenter. Maybe he cheated in school? Just speculation but only thing that really comes to mind.
