Texas Longhorns at TCU Horned Frogs

Time: 6pm CST

Location: Fort Worth, Texas.

Line: Texas -3

Quick Preview:

TCU is better,. However, in a cut throat league like the Big 12, being a decent team makes you the easy one in the league. Texas needs this win badly because wins in the Big 12 will be hard to come by. Texas has more talent and should win the game. However, Slovakian Vladimir Brodziansky (~13 PPG) will challenge the front line of the Longhorns but the guards are much better for Texas.

Texas wins 69-61

Texas got a technical for not removing Demarcus Holland from the starting lineup, but Texas responded however the Horned Frogs up 2 after 1st TV timeout.

Halftime: Texas down by 2.

Isaiah Taylor has his 1,000 career point with the Longhorns.

--Felix with 14 points already.  Horns up 48-44.  This one looks like it will be a scrap down to the wire.

Ibeh, Cleare, Lammert and Davis all with three fouls.  Around 10 minutes left in the game.

Ibeh with 4 fouls now.  Horns lead TCU 52-50, 7:00 left in thegame.

Javan Felix leads all scorers with 16 points.

This team can be so much fun to watch at times, and other times they're just painful to watch.

Taylor, for as good of a player as he is, just tries to do too much.

Texas let that one slip away.  TCU wins 58-57.  'Horns had multiple chances to pull this one out.  Tough conference loss that will sting.

How many possessions were we scoreless down the stretch before the end of the game?  5?

We looked really good coming out of the half in our offensive mind set.  Then we get down to nut-cutting time, and play completely out of control.  I think that will come with maturity and time, but boy it makes it hard to watch.

So I guess that one free point before the game even started made a difference?
