TCU's stud defensive end Devonte' Fields was allegedly robbed this morning.. take a read for yourself. The story sounds pretty fishy the more you read though. Sounds like there is a lot more to this than was reported.

His story is complete bs. I've practiced criminal law for 20 years and I can say with a strong degree of confidence that there is much more to the story and would bet this had to do with drugs.

It's one thing to deny a search at your residence, it's another thing to not cooperate at all with the police and drop the charges. Would bet that Fields had some type of relationship with these guys and something went bad.....Just speculation but as the poster stated above, this doesn't pass the smell test.

Say what you will about Strong's on-campus rule, but it prevents a lot of headaches. This is a case where if Fields was on campus I guarantee this doesn't happen.
