This statement on the surface is a little crazy... but let's look under the surface. I believe Swoopes is saying that they have not given up and they are going to fight and play every game like the National championship is on the line.

Is this not the attitude we want our QB and team to have? So go ahead Swoopes play the remaining of the games like your trying to win the championship.... that the attitude I want my QB to have...

Can you believe that Finger would ask such an incredibly ignorant question?  I hope someone grabbed him by the neck and threw him out of that presser - he had no business there.

What exactly did he expect Swoopes to say - no, we have a terrible team and have no chance to make a bowl game?

Truthfully, there were a pot load of obtuse questions asked.  Our own Matt Cotcher did well and didn't make an utter fool of himself like some did.

Matt, if you are reading this, who was the young lady that was asking questions and who did she represent - if you know?

Another dilly of a question, asked of Swoopes was - "Do you think you have gained any confidence having played in these two games?"  I'm sure that dumb*** expected Swoopes to say "No, I'm actually a quivering mass of jelly and I am scared to death of going on the field.".

I like it, what's he suppose to say? Our season is over? This should be the mindset of every player even if it isn't realistic.
