I'm not worried about his coaching that much. Only time will tell. I don't really care about recruiting in Florida either.

1. Sitting beside Sumlin, Briles and Stoops...does he land the recruit?

2. Does he leave UT for the NFL fairly quick?

1-Yes. What he has above all three coaches is the Texas brand. We still have a top 15 class this year even with mediocre seasons, a coaching change, and an upswing in A&M and Baylor recruiting. We already have an edge just for being Texas. Also, he has a clear edge over Sumlin and Briles. He can show recruits his BCS ring and national title rings he won while at Florida (something Briles and Sumlin don't have). Finally, he has a great sales pitch for defensive players. Go look at the stats for his defenses while at Florida, they are insane. This year his defense at Louisville was the best in the country statistically. We will start getting top recruits now on the defensive side of the ball. Good coordinator hires will also give Texas an advantage over the likes of Sumlin, Briles and Stoops. FYI I wouldn't worry too much about Stoops.......I think he's going to the NFL soon (would not be surprised if it's this year).

2-Don't think he's a NFL guy. His wife has said several times that she likes the college atmosphere. When she gets her kids into a nice school, like Westlake, it's going to be hard for them to leave Austin.
