Stoops

I like the rivalry with Stoops at OU. Always better to have a villian type persona at your rival school, though there is no doubt the guy is a phenomenal coach.

Like in the Blake years, I felt more pity for ou than hate.

It's hard to write, but I hope he stays. I always laughed at the "Big Game Bob" stuff, but he earned some respect by whipping Alabama. He helps the B12. We just need to do our part and keep the golden hat in Austin.

That was a big win against Bama and def good for the big12, especially after losing to aggy last cotton bowl. He's a damn good coach and always seems to bring these QBs along very 2-3 yrs. Amazing.

I would like to see him stay, but he if leaves good on him I guess. They would go after someone like Morris or Franklin I assume, but who cares, they are about to be owned!

I would be curious to see how he could do in the NFL.
I'm not saying it wouldn't be quite interesting to watch. I just don't want us to lose the face to our rival. Any other coach at OU and to me it would lose a little luster when we win.

If Stoops were to leave, OU might get a better coach. I couldn't figure out why OU didn't run it's QB against us knowing fully well that we couldn't stop the QB runs.

That entire succession of Gary Gibbs, Howard Schnellenberger and then John Blake was hilarious.

Me too! I kept expecting them to but they didn't. Thank god for that!
