No mention of Nathan Hughes or D Davis at LB?

Good read though Steve E is NOT a force in the running game at all .. .he makes VERY poor reads and cannot get off a block to save his life. . ..he is much better in space. . . of course JMHO. . .

As I have said since his freshman year M Thompson should have a) been a WR/QB hybrid and B) wasted a year not shirting. . . .

Regardless of who starts, Texas needs all 8 of the names you mention at DE & DT to play well. Outside of Reed, I don't think there is anybody in the group that will play more than 60% of snaps. That should/could make everyone better.

I see a very good and outstanding defense this year, with total aggression and hostility.

I think the lb's will step up, especially edmond under a new strength and conditioning coach. The starting dl looks solid and i would think somewhere along the way we will develop some depth there next year. The secondary though scares me. There are a lot of holes to fill.
