Softball Coach Mike White, ejected, flips off Umps

Texas softball was eliminated in the semifinals by Oklahoma State. After two video reviews led to 2 oklahoma state runs, coach White was ejected. On the way off the field, he pumps up the fans and then flips the bird to the umps.

He went on to post a very sincere apology online. 

Watch the video and you can see how pumped up the team was. Honestly, I think he regrets the hand gesture but his team knows he has their back going into NCAA play.

In IMPO he should have apologize for the ejection. The middle finger to the umps should've been unapologetic and directed to the Big 12 that they should get better refs and umps for all sports and until then expect the UT coaches to do the same because of the lack of balls and backbone from the front office on these refs and umps for all sports. Make the Big 12 office accountable for these officals' actions. He may get a suspension, but make it worth it. Doubt the team cares about the middle finger and most of the team's fans would support it more.

IMHO, Texas going to Washington was punishment for White flipping the bird. Glad the ladies won though!

It's possible, though, I don't think the committee should take things like that into account.

Benefit of beating the #13 seed is we get to go play the #4 seed. Had we hosted, we probably would have been a #16 seed and have to face off with OU. As much as OU sucks, I don't see anyone beating them 2 out of 3.
