I am the eternal optimist so know that going in.....

Concerns: O-line play in the run game and not being able to exert our will and move bodies, where is Neto?, where is Nick Brooks?, obvious QB play, RB (just nervous about depth and health), and when do we see a freshman 5-star WR become a playmaker-along with PL?

Caveat-This maybe feels like the year we started slow and struggled against Wyoming and others and we were fine (my hope)

Positives: Defense looks really good, ST looks good, play design looks good on offense-just need execution...so fixable, right?

I say we turn this thing around starting this weekend against a struggling defense then use the bye week to get our collective stuff together for the SEC. Hoping I am not overly optimistic but its all I can be!
Also have any of yall ever sat in Section 35? I have tix and just wondering what to expect. HOOKEM!

I'm also concerned about the OL. We should be mauling these creampuffs. But like any other position, these guys need reps against real game-time competition. They need to figure it out. Plus I think with top 2 RBs out, our run game may not be as potent, though I really like what I saw from Simon. Whenever Gibson gets the ball, I'm thinking just hold onto the ball, no fumbles.

The D will keep us in games. I really think without turnovers, we can hold most teams under 14 points.

Manning will figure it out. I'm just not sure when though. He may cost us a game or two. I really don't see Sark benching him for Cardwell, a 1yr fill-in. And with Lacey, you'll get the same mistakes so Manning it is. I trust Sark to make the right decisions on Manning. If he has NFL potential, you have to play him.
