RIP William Harris

Wow! He's from my era. That hits close to home. After Lawrence Sampleton, he was the next great thing at tight end. I believe he played high school ball at Houston Smiley. He had wide receiver skill inside a tight end body. Terrible news. William may have been 50. Prayers to his family. I'll always remember him taking a toss from Todd Dodge and going 84 yards against Penn State up in East Rutherford, NJ. Circa 1984.

Did he pass from complications from ALS? I know he had been fighting it for a while now. Thoughts and prayers for his family.
