What is your "pet peeve"...the thing you see another motorist do and you wish a cop was there AND would nail them for it?

Im driving down 281 the other day in Comal County and there it is.....50 in a 70 in the left lane. Annoying.

Car that is not only speeding but weaving in and out of heavy traffic will get me a little bothered.

Slow drivers in the fast lane piss me off.

Drivers unaware of changing light for more than 3 seconds are constantly honked at by me.

Ive found the slow driver in the fast lane thing really does irk a lot of people.

Hitting on the swerving in and out of traffic is the dude who likes to tailgate. Youre doing the speed limit in the right hand lane and instead of passing you this douchebag wants to ride six inches off your bumper instead of going around.  That person deserves a ticket and then some.

Have you ever been to Mexico - especially Mexico City?  With the large quantities of illegal aliens in our state, is it any wonder they don't know how to drive?  Hell, for that matter they can't even read english, so how would they know what the traffic signs say?

I read, yesterday, that Colorado is going to start issuing licenses to "undocumented immigrants".  By-the-way, how does everyone like the new name for aliens that are here breaking the law?

Don't get me started.

My biggest driving pet peeve is encountered during the double left turn lanes where the driver, typically in the outside lane, cuts across the broken white line in making his left turn.  The driver in the inside lane that swings wide across the line is equally egregious.  But for some reason, that doesn't happen as often.  Idiots all.

Yeah, me and tailgaters do NOT get along. My car or Jeep always seems to slow down for some reason when some jack wagon is riding my ass.

Dudes that blow highway stops signs. For Christ sake just wait the extra five seconds.

People in downtown Austin who have this idea that the turn lane is whatever lane they happen to be in, whichever direction they are wanting to turn.

People and 4 way stop signs. People that just follow the guy in front of them and don't actually make a stop at the intersection. DPS should make everyone getting a license drive through one of these.

That's mine. The thing is, cops can give a ticket for this offense. It's called unsafe or reckless driving.

Others of mine:

- Cars that skip over three lanes to make an exit.

- Driving and texting

- Someone is doing 50 in the fast lane. You move over to pass. Suddenly, they're racing you to not let you pass.

- Reducing lanes and you drive through and find no real reason they reduced lanes. No construction. No wrecks.

Reckless Driving doesnt fit that particular offense.  There is an actual law against driving in the left lane, but it went so unenforced for so long its a toss up from place to place whether or not the JP/Municipal Courts will prosecute it, and if the County/District Courts will accept it as "probable cause".

Although LA is notorious for its traffic, California is adamant about enforcing its laws of driving too slow in the left lanes.  The CHPS will flat ticket you if you do and they REALLY crack down on the trucks.  Trucks are only allowed in the left lane if they are passing or turning left.

In Texas, if the roads are marked with minimum speeds, you can be ticketed for "speeding too slow".  My aggie son-in-law actually got one of these in Dallas.  I love that kid (he is actually no longer a kid) to death, but he drives me crazy with his driving.  He drives like a little old lady and, when I drive, I always check the speed limit to see how far over it I can drive. :)

I like minimum limits personally. I also think we need to get a better handle on the elderly driving. I know its going to inconvenience the 9 out of 10 who are perfectly fine but its that one we need to catch.

Example - Rolling down Marbach the other day and an ambulance is running hot in the inside lane stuck behind granny who is going 20mph and WILL. NOT. MOVE. OVER.
