OT NHL mumps outbreak

Does Canada not immunize like the US, or is this a new/different strain of mumps? DocLonghorn where are you?

Saw this earlier and immediately thought these guys need to get their MMR shots but supposedly it isn't that big of a concern to the league. It would concern me......

They also had to halt their team visits to children's hospitals for fear of transmission to already ill kids. Still curious if MMR immunization is not required in Canada, or if this is a freak/unique case right now?
