Ok, I'm over it with my spoiled a$$! I'm all in for Charlie Strong!

I just started thinking that I have liked & respected Charlie Strong more than the other candidates. He is a stand up guy & a really good coach. I have always wanted a good man as our HC. With Mack, I think we had started to believe that a good guy as HC = a soft team. That's just not so. CS is a good guy that will demand a tough team. His team will prolly finish near the top ten after beating Miami 36-9 in their bowl & going 12 & 1 at a school that thinks all balls are round & bouncy. Their only loss was by 3 to the team that prison raped Baylor in a BCS bowl! CS will bring Vance Bedford back home with him! Hell yeah!! If not, maybe a shade of Gray or a Shannon or Mr. Ed or even an old bad a$$ named Robinson. My only concern is, will we get the best OC available? That is a must have!! Maybe the best aspect of this hire is the fact that he wanted to be here more than the others! Even though he knew he was the underdog, he was willing to fight for it. This reflects the large chip he has on his shoulder. This guy is not the hired gun we all wanted, he is the freakin sheriff we all needed! We, as a group had become like the spoiled rich kid that was pissed cuz he didn't get that Porsche 911 turbo for Christmas. We're too spoiled realize it now but that Porsche was very likely to end up wrapped around a tree. Maybe we didn't get what we wanted, maybe we got just what we needed!

Good observations and good post. We aren't settling, we are getting a HC that really wants the position. With hopefully Vance Bedford coming over and getting an excellent OC, we'll be much better than the last 4 years. Think it's a very smart hire.
