My daughter is buying a house in Lubbock, across the street from Monterrey HS where the #1 wbb recruit, Aaliyah Chavez, plays. The rumor in Lubbock is that she/family is holding out for an NIL package of $1.2M - from any one of her finalists.
That got me to wonder if UT would do that - for a men’s or women’s recruit? Maybe in football, just don’t know what UT is even doing regarding NIL. I know the rumor is Tech gave a $1M NIL deal to their star softball pitcher that transferred from Stanford, so there is at least a market out there.
