Neil Armstrong, American Patriot and Legend Dead at 82

Heard about this after I got back tonight but had to comment on his passing and what he meant to America as the first man to walk on the moon. Armstrong's trip on Apollo 11 was important for the nation and for the cold war/ space race. He carried the nation on his back for a period and ultimately by stepping foot on the moon. Armstrong will never be forgotten for his accomplishments as an astronaut and as an American.

Neil Armstrong is a true American hero - the kind you do not find very often any more and the kind we need more of.
