El Gallo across from St. Edward's University is a place I hit each time I am in Austin. The Margaritas will kick your tail. Great food and like Texas Football, great tradition.

Good food, good drinks. St. Ed's was my safety school and I still go back there every time I visit Austin. I would move back if the cost of living wasn't so darn high. Love El Gallo!

At there last year, which was the last time I was in Austin. All my buddies have either died or moved, same with my family. I don't know anyone there and damn sure am not going to pay for a motel room..Sad, I so miss the place, but not the insane traffic..
