Reading the sport section of the Austin American Statesman and in it Hermann makes the comment that on Monday there should be no surprises for Coaches or players when they start running first team offense against second team defense  and vice-versa plus those that will be on the scout team as they now start to prepare for Maryland. He mentions that some players will be upset as they have a disconnect of their performance to the actual reality of how they performed and several scholarship players will be on the scout team.  I really like this very frank and strong Coaching mentality that Tom is bringing to the 40 acres...I was surprised to see a comment about Hager saying that he will let him in to rush on third down but he needs to play better on first and second down to for him to stay on the field.  Hager was a player that I was hoping had made big improvements from last year and would be a force on defense.  Hope he can meet the challenge that Tom is offering .
