In what is the most perplexing news about the Texans, evidently Matt Schaub is out for the season with a Lisfranc injury. COuldn't have told from yesterday's performance. Texans were looking really good and now they will have to rely on the arm and brains of pretty boy Matt Leinart, just like the Trojans had to in '05. We saw how that turned out for them...

I wish the Texans the best but what seemed to be a shoe in to the playoffs is now questionable.....

Not going to lie, I am really worried. I think the Texans have a good enough record thus far, and they have a cake enough schedule to where they make the playoffs. Will they win a playoff game with Matt Leinart? I seriously doubt it. This is a tragedy. The Texans were poised for a deep playoof run and with Andre Johnson coming back it was supposed to all fall into place. I hope the Texans prove everyone wrong with Leinart but I doubt it.

Never like to hear about a season ending injury. I am not sure what happened but it is now Leinarts job. No one cut the Cowboys any slack last season when Romo missed eight games.

Some idiot on the radio yesterday even proposed the Texans going out and picking up Brett Favre. or Kurt Warner. Hell why not just go out and sign Jeff George!

Texans are primarily a running and defensive team so they should be ok. Leinart only needs to do the minimum to get a few wins.

I am hoping this season doesn't sink with Schaub out ... I had my hopes up! Just like every season!

The Texans should be fine this week the way Foster and Tate have been running with the ball and how the defense has been playing. It'll be interesting to see how often Kubiak will pass and how much PT Andre.will see. That would really suck if he went out and reaggravated his hammy..

The Texans signed Kellen Clemens today. Whoopidy doo! This was just another warm body in case Leinart goes down. I do not think Kellen CLemens has much to offer except a body temperature of 98.6 degrees.

Texans will get 10 wins this season even with Leinart. The worry comes in week 1 of the playoffs. Andre Johnson is supposed to play on Sunday and that will help.

Playing defense and running the ball is all well and good but to win in the playoffs that won't get it done. The playoffs are QB driven.

I think the Texans would beat the Cowboys if they played next week, even with Leinart.

Now Leinart gets whipped around and they are with a third string qb. Things do not look good. Even if they make they playoffs they will get beat down in the first week.

Sorry Texan fans but you sound a bit like the aggy with your comparisons to America's team..Maybe you can get mad and leave the NFL for the Arena League..

I hardly would compare the Texans to the Aggies. I did hear that Brett Favre was a topic of conversation again about potential qb's to bring on.

My tongue was firmly planted in my cheek.

Texans worked out Jeff Garcia and Jake Delhomme and they ended up signing Delhomme to the team. This is particularly troubling because Jeff Garcia's wife is smokin' hot. See Exhibit A:

Remember when TO, who you never see with a woman, said he was gay?
