I could very easily be wrong, but does Mack typically make visits this time of year?

Seems to me he is either in NY this time of year, preparing for a bowl, or preparing for Banquet.

Am I wrong? Just asking.

And of all places Florida, or at least that's what I think I heard. When was the last time we got a kid from Florida. Shoot, when was the last time we offered a kid from Florida (well, QB Brantley?)...

LOL. Mack recruiting? Why bother? Better use the trip to apologize to the quarterback at Florida State, who had wanted to join Texas but got rejected by the "fine recruiter". The pathetic BSer & Impostor should leave recruiting to someone who understands football and knows how to spot true talents, not clumsy idiots with the right last name like Chris Simms and Case McCoy.

if i recall correctly, the head coach is allowed to make one in-home visit with recruits. So doing the Florida visit with Beck falls in line with this before the dead period. After the dead period, the HC will make in=homes with the in-state recruits and possible commits prior to signing day.

I understand that part, I just don't ever recall him doing it at this time of year.
