The guys look looser that I have seen them at any time this year. More joking around, slapping each other on the head etc. Not as if they're not taking the task seriously, just, looser.

On several occasions this year, especially BYU, they just looked so serious I'm now sure they were way uptight.

Great news!  Wonder if Redding, Hampton, or Street visited practice this week?

As in the famed Longhorn pitcher, three time All-American, inducted into the Hall this week.

catch up, stp.  You are slowing down.

I thought they played fast and loose the first half. Second half the offense seemed to act like they had forgot how to finish off a game.
Yep, that is the "learning to win" that they are just starting to get. In the end the defense woke back up and took the win into their hands.

Swoopes can't deal with pressure. When West Virginia stacked the box in the second half and limited the run game, Swoopes couldn't deal with the pressure. The kid has the physical ability, but he just can't get the mental aspects of the game down. Maybe with time......

When I saw him trip his own running back twice late in the game handing off, I was just speechless.

Hopefully, the light will finally come on for him, but he had better be prepared to deal with a stacked box the rest of the season. If I were Okie Lite and TCU, I would make Swoopes beat me. Can he?

I think he can if they would go HUNH. They talk a lot about the O playing for the D and vice versa, yet they keep the O throttled back. When we really needed to burn some clock in the 3rd & 4th quarters, we couldn't string together 2 first downs.

Quit coddling the defense and take the brakes off the offense!

I have to agree with this. All year long we have been better in the hurry up. Doesn't mean you have to throw the ball just to be in the hurry up offense.
