I can't imagine Les Miles being this stupid, but I suppose anything is possible.

Les has quite a few commits taking visits to Texas, and he may be feeling the heat. He can't very well say anything against UT, not with his daughter on the swimming team. Maybe he is lashing out at Charlie personally.

If Les is saying that then he's stupid, or the recruits are stupid if they believe him. If this was Coach Strong's first time as a head coach then that could work. Randy Shannon coached four years at Miami and was fired. Charlie Strong coached four years at Louisville and not only did Louisville want to keep him but he got the best job in college football. Randy Shannon never went 23-2.

Although I don't ever foresee Coach Strong stooping to that level, I kind of like that Miles is talking about him. It reinforces the relevancy of what's going on in Bellmont.

I also really enjoyed the good ol' days when Spurrier was taking shots at UTenn. That stuff makes CFB better, IMO.

i agree with matt, he's preoccupied with taking these veiled shots at Texas so that means we're in his head.  he got passed over in the UT coaching sweepstakes and he's butt hurt, seems like

Les had to wait until Mack Brown was gone before he could say anything negative about Texas. He seems to be making up for lost time now.
