This is getting a lot of coverage this week so I looked it up and I am not sure what to think. Is this legitimate or is it some sort of scam? I am reading conflicting reports about the efficacy of the initiative and its intentions. ANybody that knows anything about it please share.

If everyone donated 5 bucks to the homeless and other domestic crises we have here, we would be doing ourselves a big favor. Any more and I will have to post this to the politics board.
