Kansas, Rice, Tx Tech, are the only games I feel confident about winning, maybe

I think this is going to be a terrible year !

Looking on the bright side, if I am correct, there will be a lot of new faces next year on the staff.

I know it is early to be so negative, we are terrible right now, and have been for the last several games.

I see no easy fix any where to turn this team around and pull out a winning season.

Virginia Tech is over matched and they are playing to try to win !

That is something Texas has not done in several games now.

Tech is coached by a guy who is dumber than our coaches...He lets Mayfield get away because he doesn't want to give him a 'Ship.... Mayfield just broke Sam Bradford's passing record this weekend....I don't think they can out coach our staff. Tech is a win as is Kansas, Rice, and maybe ISU...Thats our four.....4-8 bank on it unless we can upset KSU.....TCU, Baylor, and OU will be cover your eyes ugly like the ND game was. California won't be fun at all. OSU and their big WRs against Duke "the toast of Texas" Thomas......SMH. Its tough to win in Morgantown for good teams....not happening for us.  Unless major changes occur and actually work in a positive manner, this is how it unfortunately will play out. I don't see this staff coaching this team through an upset of any of the top teams in our conference; so don't look for any miracle outcomes. Until we get better athletes than our opponents we won't see those 9 or 10 win seasons again.

Virginia Tech may be over-matched but would beat us by 30. Thats why they are playing with tOSU.

It will be tough to get past 6-6. Kansas and Rice should be all but sure wins. Tech and Iowa State should be wins but not sure wins. KSU and Okie State are probably toss ups right now but winnable. Cal, WVA, and Oklahoma are likely losses with Baylor and TCU sure losses. 

While there is definitely a talent problem right now at Texas, I am not sure that there is also not a "coaching" problem as well.

Sounds like McFarland and Douglas are both done for the year. Ouch, big losses for TCU. I wouldn't buy stock on TCU making the playoffs now.

Tech almost beat Baylor last year.  Mahommes is much improved since Texas saw him in his first game (Diggs knocked him out of the game).  I dont think a win vs Tech is a given.  Tech is sporatic and you never know but they are one of my losses as of now unless Texas can fix things

the good news is their defense is pretty bad but then again our offense appears to be as well.  Can our defense shut down tech pass offense.  Maybe.
