Just read that our good friend Jeff Dillard (LONGHORN REALTOR) just passed. He was a great Longhorn.

Awful news to end the year on.

RIP Jeff.

RIP Jeff, you were a great friend and person. I will miss you.

Prayers to Jeff's family.  Never met Jeff, but words eloquently spoken by others about him tells me he's VIP at Gates of Heaven.

RIP Jeff.

Got to know Jeff as I was an original member of the University of Texas Club. He was the manager.

There are some stories there. We did have fun. I didn't know him as well as so many here did but he was one of the great ones and will remain forever with me.

It did pain me to see him in declining health the last two years at his tailgate. I know he was in pain.

Rest in Peace you sweet sweet man.

I was deeply saddened by the news of Jeff's passing. He was always very welcoming to everyone he met and I think taught us all a lesson in how to live even when your health is in decline.

Rest in peace and my prayers go out to his family.

Man he was one of the great ones. Always good to everyone.

Will truly be missed!

Rest in peace, good man!

I met Jeff several years ago. I of course met him on OB first, then met him in person. He sent some business my way and I sent some to him. I decided a few years ago to sponsor his tailgate. It would be at that tailgate that I'd get some one-on-one time with him. He would talk about his health issues but only in general terms. And always seemed more focus or concerned about his family than himself.

I admired him for that trait, his loyalty to friends, and tendency to call me out of the blue sometimes when I really needed to hear from a friend.

"Generous" is a good word to describe him, but that generosity came from having a huge cow heart that so seldom said "no." While I mourn his loss, our world is a little darker today because he's not here.

A good man, good friend and great Horn . . ..

He will be missed. . .

My wife and I had the honor of being one of his last clients. The man could make you laugh and both he and Linda quickly became friends over the course of our business. They made us feel like family and that is what I will remember most about him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Linda and the boys. RIP Jeff....and hang them Horns high in heaven my friend.

Jeff's funeral will most likely be Saturday (Jan 3rd) at 4pm (viewing at 3pm) at Beck Funeral home in Cedar Park on 1431.

Address is:

Beck Funeral Home

1700 East Whitestone Boulevard

Cedar Park, TX 78613

FYI; over at OBs, a moment of silence is being had in honor of Jeff Dillard.  I know many on here know him, but may not be members over there.
