...and now Orangebloods.com reports that Chevoski Collins and Jalen Overstreet have been dismissed from the team due to a violation of team rules.  At least we know who the four banned players were now...

This isn't a bad thing, you get rid of players that are cancers. We expected attrition and it's happening. 

Sanders and Meander/media guide mistakes sucks, but I'm certainly not going to get worked up over this.

Agreed.  It'll free up 4 scholarships for players that wanna buy-in to Strong's vision for Texas Football.  Fortunately, the losses are at positions with depth.

Attrition was coming we all knew this, Strong is laying down the law. 

I'm certainly not going to get worked up over a 4th string RB and 3rd string safety, especially if they weren't following the rules.

gents, during media day interviews.. didn't coach strong indicate that two of the four banned players were undergoing special workouts as per coach pat moorer?  therefore, maybe two of these four banned players may be back at some point before start of fall practice.  that is, unless otherwise stated.

I'd have to go back and find it, but I read in a Dallas Morning News a quote from Charlie that Sanders and Meander were NOT 2 of the 4 banned players. However, I have not read that anywhere else and no one seems to have picked up on it especially considering they quoted him as saying at the B12 Media Days.
