Illinois Invades Penn State

Illinois has sent 6 (Yes SIX) coaches to Penn State. As I type, they are on the ground in State College recruiting players.

That's awesome!!! If the NCAA says its ok, then I commend them for it. I hear they are sitting in the parking lot, a la, SMU.

I read the blurb about PSU players Michael Zordich and Michael Mauti and their pledge to Penn State and the football team to remain and play and yes, it is novel. but stupid. I respect the loyalty (I guess) but what are they playing for? No Bowl Game for 4 years, no respect, nada. As far as recruits are concerned... there is not a high school kid (or JUCO kid for that matter) that would transfer to Penn State knowing there will be no postseason in their collegiate future.
