You boys must really have been great when you played. These guys she me something every single time they take the court. The outcome does not matter nearly as much as how hard they play and how much effort they give. You "final score is all that matters" guys do not get it.

And like clockwork here comes JimR with his ray of sunshine. I played football for many many years so I get it's not all about the scoreboard. I just used the season ending stretch to show how they finished. Again, that is still what I want to see. They played with heart at the beginning of other seasons as well. I want to see if they will continue to fight and endure together.

Don't get your panny drawls in a bunch because someone doesn't share the same passion you do for this team. If history has told us anything, it's how this team FINISHES and not how they perform early to mid-season. Rick Barnes is still the coach brother.

The more I see what Gregg Marshall has done with Wichita State, the more I'm thinking it might be best to make a move, despite what UT does this year.

And yes, I realize there could be great coaches available after next season, bu still...

If this team finishes well, Barnes may find he's in demand.

So far the story has been about the great job he's done turning it around with this young team.

Should be interesting to see this play out. Still a lot of upside with this group IMO

I do agree that the data supports the notion that Rick Barnes doesn't finish seasons well. However, I would assert that this team has more hope than it had for the last 2 seasons. Very young and talented team. Unfortunately for the people who want a new coach, that will buy Barnes 1 more season.
